2023 Consumer Confidence Report

As you may or may not be aware, the building at Haskatasun is provided water service from our own private well. We are not part of the Truckee Donner PUD. As such, FOTTW is required to maintain its own small water system complete with testing and regulation requirements from the State of California and Nevada County Department of Health. Throughout the year we have various testing requirements to make sure that we are maintaining healthy drinking water for our consumers. We have never had any test results that violate state standards. However, each year we are required to compile all of our testing results into a report called the Consumer Confidence Report and to provide a copy of this report to all of our consumers.

Attached is the Annual Water Board Consumer Confidence Report for water quality testing at Haskatasun for 2024.  In short, the water quality is excellent, and no contaminants were found in quantities that would require mitigation. 

We did have an issue with the timing of when a few of the samples were taken this year, which is technically a violation. You’ll find a description of that in the Consumer Confidence Report.
